10,000 steps walks in all hamlets of #MooiMol
MooiMol is participating in ‘10,000 steps 2.0’ with a walk for each hamlet. To reinforce our participation in 10,000 steps 2.0, our tourism service developed a 10,000-step walk for each hamlet.

Did you know that 10,000 steps (or 8,000 for 65+) per day is enough exercise for good health? So definitely join in! The Flemish Institute for Healthy Living and the Flemish Logos are organizing '10,000 steps 2.0' with the support of the Flemish government. We are participating again to get our residents walking!


Red carpet signs
Another new feature this year: red carpet signs. We are looking at how various important places in our municipality can be reached by accessible roads. The red carpet signs indicate, for example, which road from the hospital to the chemist is the most accessible and how many steps that trip is worth.


Counting steps
Counting steps is simple, easy and motivating! There are different ways to count your steps. More information about pedometers can be found at www.10000stappen.be
