Sunparks Kempense Meren
Sunparks Kempense Meren is located in the middle of the 'Stille Kempen', surrounded by forests and lakes. It is the perfect place for walking and cycling tours or trips to nature and amusement parks in the area. At the park itself you can enjoy facilities such as Aquafun and various restaurants.

Pit of Raw
The Put van Rauw, just like the Zilvermeer, was created by sand extraction. The large inland lake, one of the largest in Flanders, offers a beautiful environment and a rich biodiversity all year round.

Floating islands Put van Rauw
In the Put van Rauw there are four artificial floating islands, constructed by Sibelco and the municipality. They are intended to ecologically enrich the lake. The islands form a unique habitat for rare species such as the black tern and the tern. Each island has a specific function and is made of sustainable materials.

Nature Reserve De Maat
In nature reserve De Maat, spriet was mined during the Second World War. This resulted in shallow pools of water, some of which are now fishponds. Today it is a beautiful nature reserve where you can enjoy walking, both alone and with a guide.

The Crystalline
't Kristallijn combines culture, nature and recreation. This area is partly designed as a public park with a walking path that overlooks an impressive lake. There is also an exhibition space where interesting exhibitions are regularly shown.

Sibelco Experience Centre
The Sibelco Experience Centre is an interactive museum about the history of the company, quartz mining and sustainable entrepreneurship. Here you can discover the applications of Mol quartz sand via a timeline, a mineral treasure room, a production room and a mini lab with interactive experiments.
