Mosaic of water, sand and green
From the banks of the canal lake you walk towards the quarry and nature reserve Schansheide. From the viewing hill you have a beautiful view of the sand quarries and the heath. Do you still have energy left after this climb? Then definitely climb the Sas4 tower. You will be rewarded with a 360° panorama of the area.
Need a break?
- At the Pannenkoekenboot (KP 83) in Dessel there are no less than 285 artisan pancakes on the menu. Choice stress guaranteed!
- Expect Flemish classics at Het Jagershof (KP 75) in a beautiful location near the Bailey Bridge.
- On board the Kleppende Klipper (KP 56) you can enjoy a snack and a drink in the countryside.
- Settle down on a terrace by the water at Zilvermeerhaven Port Aventura (KP 78).
