The Mol watermill is located next to the cultural center 't Getouw, a former woolen fabric factory. The mill is managed by nature association De Gagel, which also established the nature education center 'De Beekjuffer' there.
Damselflies are a genus of dragonflies of which there are two species: the meadow damselfly and the woodland damselfly.
The damselflies are typical for this region, and that is not a coincidence because they need clean running water . The Nete basin is known as one of the cleanest streams in all of Flanders and is extremely suitable for these damselflies. Regional Landscape Kleine and Grote Nete therefore carries the beautiful woodland damselfly in their logo.
The museum focuses on groups and school classes of maximum 25 people.
